Akwa Ibom APC Members Accuse PDP Defectors of Party Takeover

Akwa Ibom APC members have raised concerns over the alleged hijacking of the party by defectors from the PDP. The group, known as Akwa Ibom APC Aborigin Forum, accuses the newcomers of sidelining long-standing APC loyalists and influencing key party decisions.

They claim that Governor Umo Eno and Senator Godswill Akpabio are allowing former PDP loyalists to control the party structure, leading to fears of a takeover. The forum vows to resist efforts to erase the contributions of loyal party members and prevent strangers from dominating the party.
