Akwa Ibom Chief Judge Warns Newly Sworn-In Notaries Against Fraud

The Chief Judge of Akwa Ibom State, Justice Ekaete Obot, cautioned 16 newly sworn-in notaries against engaging in fraudulent activities while administering oaths of office in Uyo. The notaries were reminded of their responsibility to uphold transparency and integrity in legal matters.

The Nigeria Labour Congress also visited the Chief Judge to advocate for the recruitment of 600 judicial casual workers who have been in service for twenty years with low pay. The Chief Judge expressed concerns about worker welfare and the need for fair recruitment practices in the state.
