Akwa Ibom Chief Judge Swears In 16 New Notaries Public, Emphasizes Ethics and Transparency

The Chief Judge of Akwa Ibom State has inaugurated 16 newly appointed Notaries Public, including lawyers like Iniobong Udo Uko and Vivian Ijeoma Uzoma. The Chief Judge stressed the importance of upholding ethics and transparency in preparing legal documents, cautioning against fraudulent activities.

The event marked a routine administrative exercise to implement the Notaries Public Act 2023. The newly sworn-in individuals were reminded of their duties to act justly and uprightly in line with their oath.

This ceremony reaffirmed the judiciary's commitment to combat fraud and ensure the integrity of legal instruments within the state.
