Akwa Ibom Governor Eno Backs Tinubu's 2027 Re-Election

Umo Eno, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, stated that Nigerians will re-elect President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections. During an interview on Tuesday, Eno highlighted Tinubu's administration's economic policies, which have increased funding for state projects.

He mentioned that the administration has provided financial resources necessary for executing critical development projects, including the construction of 1,300 kilometers of roads, 458 compassion homes, and support programs for 12,000 elderly citizens across the state's 31 local government areas. Eno pointed out that Tinubu's administration has made funds available for these projects and emphasized the importance of tax reforms and stabilizing the naira against the dollar as reasons for public support.

He affirmed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is firmly behind Tinubu's re-election bid, noting the party's strong political presence in Akwa Ibom State, where it controls major electoral positions.
