Akwaaba to Exhibit at 2026 Magical Kenya Travel Expo

Akwaaba African Travel Market, a prominent travel and tourism event based in Lagos, Nigeria, will participate as an exhibitor at the 16th Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) from October 6th to 8th, 2026, at the Uhuru Gardens National Monument and Museum in Nairobi, Kenya. This marks Akwaaba's second consecutive year at MKTE, having first exhibited there in 2025.
Over its 22-year history, Akwaaba has established itself as the only international travel fair in West Africa, actively promoting intra-African travel and connecting tourism professionals across the continent. The event attracts over 3,000 tourism professionals from more than 20 African countries.
Akwaaba has received accolades, including an award of excellence from the United Nations World Tourism Organisation in 2022. Notable attendees have included various presidents, such as Olusegun Obasanjo, Dawda Jawara, and the current President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The next Akwaaba fair is scheduled for September 5-7, 2027.
