Kenya Endorses Africa’s Next Super Model 2026 Event

The Government of Kenya has endorsed Africa’s Next Super Model 2026 as a strategic initiative for promoting tourism, cultural diplomacy, and enhancing the creative economy. This endorsement was made by Prof. Julius Bitok, Principal Secretary of Kenya’s Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife, to Joan Okorodudu, the Managing Director and CEO of ISIS Models/Africa’s Next Super Model.

The grand finale is scheduled for November 2, 2026, in Nairobi, with a casting call on August 29, 2026. The Kenyan government aims to leverage the event's continental reach to identify and showcase emerging African modelling talent while promoting African fashion and culture.

The initiative is part of Kenya's Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda, which prioritizes the creative economy for economic growth, employment creation, and tourism enhancement. The ministry also recognized Africa International Fashion Week as a significant event for boosting Kenya's international visibility and tourism growth.
