Al-Ahli Targets Paul Onuachu with Huge Salary Offer

Al-Ahli, a professional league club, is making a move to acquire Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu from Turkish side Trabzonspor. The 31-year-old has had an impressive season, scoring 17 goals and providing one assist in just 20 appearances, making him a key player for Trabzonspor, contributing to nearly half of the club's league goals.

Al-Ahli is looking to replace Ivan Toney and has identified Onuachu as their primary target. Currently, Onuachu is under contract with Trabzonspor until 2028 and earns approximately £48,000 per week.

Al-Ahli is prepared to offer him a salary of £144,000 per week, which represents a threefold increase in his current earnings and would be the largest paycheque of his career. This decision will challenge Onuachu to weigh the benefits of continuing to compete at a high level in Europe against the financial incentives of a move to the Middle East.
