Onuachu Rejects Saudi Mega-Deal, Stays with Trabzonspor

Paul Onuachu, the Super Eagles striker, has turned down a lucrative offer from a Saudi Arabian club that proposed to quadruple his salary. The 31-year-old forward, who has had a stellar season scoring 23 goals in 27 appearances, opted to stay with Trabzonspor, where he joined from Southampton.

Trabzonspor confirmed that Onuachu is not for sale, as his contract runs until 2028, with an additional year option. Despite interest from several European clubs, including Juventus and Stade Rennais, as well as the Asian champion Al Ahli, Trabzonspor considers Onuachu a valuable asset due to his physical presence and goal-scoring ability.

Onuachu is currently with the Super Eagles camp in Antalya ahead of international friendlies against Iran and Jordan.
