Al-Muhibbah Open University Appoints Yahuza Bello as Pro-Chancellor

Al-Muhibbah Open University appoints Yahuza Bello as the new Pro-Chancellor, succeeding Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed.

Bello, a renowned academic and former BUK member, will lead the Governing Council. The appointment was announced after a joint sitting of the University's Board of Trustees and Governing Council in Abuja.

The institution, known for its innovative open distance learning program, aims to equip students with employable skills to compete in the job market. Bala Mohammed commended the university for completing two successful academic sessions and urged stakeholders to support education and address challenges like poverty and unemployment.
