NOUN Appoints Professor Uduma as New Vice-Chancellor, Succeeding Isa Yuguda

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has appointed Professor Uduma as its new Vice-Chancellor, succeeding Isa Yuguda. Professor Uduma, with a background in philosophy and law, brings a wealth of academic leadership and research experience to the role.

His tenure begins on February 11, 2026. The appointment was made following recommendations from the joint council and senate select board.

The NOUN Governing Council expressed confidence in Professor Uduma's leadership and academic vision for the university.
