Oba Olu Adegoke Adeyemi, the Alara of Aramoko Ekiti, passed away at the age of 82 on Friday. Known for his remarkable leadership, wisdom, and dedication to the welfare of his people, Oba Adeyemi's reign was characterized by unity and cultural preservation.

His family issued a statement on Saturday, highlighting his efforts in conflict resolution, youth empowerment, and infrastructure development, which strengthened communal bonds. Born on December 4, 1942, Oba Adeyemi started his career as a teacher and later became a senior civil servant before ascending to the throne in 2009.
