Alavin Retracts Allegations Against Wizkid Associate Godson

Emmanuel Jakpa, popularly known as Alavin, has retracted his earlier allegations against Uyi Godson Agho, an associate of Afrobeat star Wizkid. Alavin urged the public to disregard a viral video that claimed Godson was involved in fraudulent activities.

This statement was made following a dispute involving businessman Clement Akpobom Ogudu, known as Isokoboi, who alleged that Godson defrauded him of N100 million. Alavin's retraction came after he clarified that the content of the video, initially recorded on June 28, 2026, did not reflect the true situation.

He emphasized that the video should not be taken seriously and was driven by previous disagreements between him and Godson. Alavin stated that he made the retraction voluntarily and that he and Godson continue to maintain their friendship.

Godson's lawyer, C.C. Ezenwa, denied the fraud allegations, which arose from a business dispute involving clothing valued at N320 million.
