Sir Alex Ferguson Hospitalized After Feeling Unwell

Sir Alex Ferguson, the former manager of Manchester United, was taken to the hospital after feeling unwell at Old Trafford on Sunday, prior to the Premier League clash against Liverpool. The 84-year-old began to feel unwell approximately one hour before the match's kickoff.

He received medical attention at the stadium and was subsequently transported to the hospital by ambulance as a precautionary measure. Reports indicate that the situation was not treated as an emergency, and he is expected to recover at home.

Ferguson was earlier seen interacting with fans and posing for photographs, maintaining his regular presence at Manchester United matches, which is often met with admiration given his legendary status at the club. He managed Manchester United from 1986 to 2013, winning 13 Premier League titles and two UEFA Champions League trophies.

Ferguson previously suffered a brain hemorrhage in 2018, which required emergency surgery, although there is no indication that Sunday’s incident is related.
