Abia State Governor Alex Otti Appoints Acting Secretary, Smooth Transition Ensured

Alex Otti, the Abia State Governor, has appointed Meribol Ukoha as the Acting Secretary to the State Government, succeeding Prof. Kenneth Kalu who was granted leave of absence.

Ukoha, a former Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, is expected to take office on January 1, 2026. The transition period is designed to ensure the smooth running of government affairs.
