Pereira Supports Adesanya Ahead of UFC Seattle Fight

Alex Pereira has expressed his support for Israel Adesanya, his long-time rival, as Adesanya prepares for his UFC comeback bout against Joe Pyfer on March 28 in Seattle. Adesanya, a Nigerian-born star, has faced challenges recently, losing three of his last four fights, including a knockout defeat to Nassourdin Imavov in February 2025.

Pereira, who has previously defeated Adesanya twice in kickboxing and once in MMA, took to Instagram to share his encouragement for Adesanya. The two fighters have been seen together at UFC events, indicating a thaw in their relationship.

Adesanya has stated that the upcoming fight against Pyfer is the biggest of his life. Meanwhile, Pereira is focused on his own career trajectory, targeting a heavyweight bout against Ciryl Gane at UFC Freedom 250 in the summer.
