Algeria Awards 140 Scholarships to Nigerian Students, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Commends Educational Initiative

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune approved 140 fully-funded scholarships for Nigerian students studying in Algeria, following a request from renowned Islamic cleric Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi. The scholarships, part of the Abwabul Khair Foundation program, aim to enhance educational and cultural ties between Algeria and Nigeria.

Sheikh Bauchi commended the Algerian government's generosity and commitment to advancing education within the Tijaniyya community. This initiative is seen as a bridge to goodwill and understanding between nations, emphasizing the pursuit of knowledge.

The scholarships mark the second phase of grants, with the first group of Nigerian students already benefiting from similar offers.
