ALGON Deputy President Adikib Urges Unity for Eid-El-Kabir

Engr. Ikenna Toni Adikib, the Deputy National President of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), congratulated Muslims across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-El-Kabir.

In his message, he called for true devotion, stating that such devotion is essential for receiving Allah's blessings during Eid al-Adha 1447 AH. Adikib urged the Muslim community to remember the sacrifices of Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Ismail, which serve as timeless reminders of true devotion.

He emphasized the need for unity among the Ummah and encouraged adherence to the pillars of Islam, including Shahadah, Salat, Zakat, Sawm, and Hajj. Adikib also highlighted the importance of public safety, urging local government chairmen and traditional rulers to prioritize security and collaborate with security agencies to ensure the safety of citizens during the festive period.

He reminded Nigerians that when security agencies work together, it enhances safety in markets, places of worship, and public roads.
