All August 16 By-elections Conducted By INEC Are Illegal, Says NNPP Chieftain Galadima

NNPP chieftain Engr Buba Galadima declared that all August 16 by-elections conducted by INEC were illegal, violating the Constitution's stipulation that elections must be held within three months of a vacancy. Galadima criticized INEC on a TV program, highlighting instances where elections were not held within the required timeframe.

He also alleged that the Federal Government was planning to rig the 2027 general election. Galadima emphasized that the NNPP would challenge the government in the upcoming elections.

He dismissed rumors of former NNPP presidential candidate Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso joining the APC, stating that Kwankwaso was a strong opposition figure.

Galadima also hinted at potential protests during the ongoing National Assembly Constitution amendment exercise. He criticized Nigerian politicians as opportunists, highlighting his own daughter's lack of political ambition despite his own involvement in politics.
