Witness Reveals Coup Plot Details in Abuja Court Case

Oluyede, received intelligence about Colonel M.M.A. Aji's alleged plans.

Evidence presented included a Samsung Galaxy phone containing sensitive operational details and links to prominent individuals, including former Bayelsa State Governor Timipre Sylva. Financial records from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) indicated suspicious transactions linked to Purpl Wave Ltd, with multiple large withdrawals made in a short period.

The court heard about several meetings held in Abuja, where participants expressed anti-government views and discussed plans for regime change. The trial is set to continue on May 4 and 5, with further testimonies expected from additional witnesses.
