ADC Accuses APC of Undermining Democracy in Nigeria

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has publicly criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) for undermining Nigeria's democracy, despite the APC's control over nearly all state governors. Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesperson for the ADC, accused the APC of displaying a level of impunity that threatens the democratic process.

He warned that the current situation could lead to a "death of democracy" in Nigeria, as the APC appears apprehensive about conducting free and fair elections. Abdullahi emphasized that the Nigerian populace must resist any form of tyranny, recalling similar situations the country has faced in the past.

He pointed out the irony of the APC's fear of elections, given its dominance in governance across the states.
