ADC Criticizes APC Over Electoral Act Amendment Bill

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has condemned the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the controversial passage of the Electoral Act Amendment Bill. ADC's spokesperson, Abdullahi, accused the APC of undermining Nigeria's democracy, expressing concern that the party's conduct could lead to a "death of democracy." He warned that Nigerians would resist any attempts at tyranny, noting that despite the APC's control over nearly all state governors, there remains a hesitance to conduct free and fair elections.

Abdullahi highlighted the challenges of impunity faced by the country and emphasized that the APC should not become synonymous with tyranny. He reiterated that Nigerians would not surrender to oppressive governance, urging for a commitment to democratic principles and electoral integrity.
