Wihioka Claims Amaechi Not Indigene of Ikwerre Land

Chidi Wihioka, the lawmaker representing the Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency in Rivers State, has publicly alleged that Rotimi Amaechi, the vice-presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), is not a native of Ikwerre Local Government Area. In a viral video, Wihioka stated that he possesses a document that substantiates his claim.

He asserted that Amaechi can no longer be considered his son and warned that he would disclose the document if Amaechi makes any derogatory comments about him. Wihioka emphasized, “He cannot say he is a son of Ikwerre land because there is a document I have and I will bring it out if he says he is a son of Ikwerre land.” He referenced the document's relevance to the balkanization of Ikwerre during the creation of Bayelsa State, indicating that he is prepared to present it to the Ikwerre people if necessary.
