Eze Challenges Wihioka Over Amaechi's Ikwerre Identity

Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has publicly challenged Chidi Wihioka, the lawmaker representing Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, to substantiate his claim that former Governor Rotimi Amaechi is not from Ikwerre. Eze's statement, made on Tuesday, follows Wihioka's assertion that Amaechi is no longer a true son of Ikwerre and his threat to produce documents if Amaechi makes derogatory remarks about him.

Eze demanded that Wihioka publish any documents he claims to have and allow them to be scrutinized by historians and traditional institutions. He criticized Wihioka's questioning of Amaechi's identity as politically motivated and an insult to the Ikwerre people.

Eze emphasized that the votes of the Ikwerre people belong to them and not to Nyesom Wike, asserting that no individual has the authority to dictate their voting choices.
