Amaechi Declares 2027 Presidential Bid Under ADC, Criticizes Tinubu

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, announced his intention to run for the 2027 presidential election under the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Amaechi stated that he would not step down for any other candidate and emphasized the importance of a transparent primary process to determine the party's flagbearer.

He criticized the current state of the nation under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, highlighting economic hardship and insecurity. Amaechi pledged to provide Nigerians with a credible alternative and promote internal democracy within ADC.
