Foreign Diplomats Celebrate Eid-el-Fitr in Katsina

On March 20, 2023, ambassadors from Spain, Poland, The Netherlands, and other nations, led by Ambassador Maham Fuad, participated in the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations in Katsina, Nigeria. The delegation arrived at the Umaru Musa Yaradua International Airport around 10:00 AM and proceeded to the emir's palace for the Eid prayer ceremony.

Following the prayers, the diplomats engaged with local leadership and were later received at the government house for customary interactions. The Katsina State Police Command confirmed that the event proceeded peacefully with no disruptions reported.

Comprehensive security arrangements were in place to ensure a hitch-free visit, with monitoring and patrols sustained throughout the day to guarantee the safety of dignitaries and the public.
