AMCON Officials and Lawyers Face Contempt Charges in Nigeria for Alleged Court Order Violation

AMCON officials and lawyers in Nigeria, including two senior advocates, are facing contempt charges for allegedly disobeying a court order involving General Hydrocarbon Limited (GHL). The Federal High Court in Lagos accused AMCON and its lawyers of failing to comply with a court order restraining them from appointing receivership over GHL.

AMCON is also accused of misleading the court and targeting GHL despite existing court orders. Key officials named in the case include Dr.

Bala Bello, Mr. Gbenga Alad, and Mr.

Adeshola Lamidi.
