Ndume Welcomes U.S. Military Support Against Insurgency

Senator Ali Ndume, representing Borno South, welcomed the assistance from the United States in Nigeria's fight against insurgency during an appearance on Channels Television on Friday. He emphasized that Nigeria has long sought support from the U.S. to address its security challenges.

Ndume clarified that while U.S. troops are currently in Nigeria, they are not involved in direct physical combat. He highlighted the importance of this military intervention in helping Nigeria to effectively combat insurgency and improve the security situation in the country.
