Nigerian Cement Producers See 32% Revenue Growth Amid Higher Sales Volumes

Nigerian cement producers, including Dangote Cement, BUA Cement, and Lafarge Africa, collectively generated N4.79 trillion in revenue in the first nine months of 2025, showing a significant 32.3% increase from the same period in 2024. The rise in revenue was attributed to higher sales volumes, improved operational efficiency, and currency stabilization.

Despite facing challenges such as high operating costs, the companies managed to boost their revenue through strategic measures. The increase in cement prices was influenced by factors like rising energy costs, raw material scarcity, and manufacturing expenses.

Experts predict that cement prices may remain high in 2025 due to inflation and increased demand from construction projects.
