Obimma Nominated for Rising Star Award at AMTI 2025

Chike Daniel Obimma, a corporate lawyer and co-founder of Niccom LLP, has been nominated for the Rising Star of the Year award at the AMTI awards, which celebrate outstanding individuals from Anambra. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place in Awka, Anambra State, though the exact date has yet to be announced.

Obimma's nomination reflects his innovative skills and dedication to excellence in the field of commercial law, where he has significantly impacted the growth of his firm, which he established nine years ago. Niccom LLP has evolved from a two-man practice into a multi-professional outfit, advising on corporate infrastructure and cross-border transactions.

Obimma's experience includes advising on major transactions in the energy, finance, and real estate sectors, including a $35 million 25MW gas power project in Lagos. He also serves as a non-executive director and chairman of the board of WNL Chase Limited, focusing on investment in infrastructure.

His academic credentials include a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Business Law from Queen Mary University, London, and an MBA from the University of Nicosia, Cyprus.
