Soludo Endorses Tinubu for 2027 Presidential Election

Anambra State Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo has officially endorsed Bola Ahmed Tinubu for re-election in the 2027 presidential race, marking a significant political move that distances him from his predecessor, Peter Obi, the flagbearer of the Nigeria Democratic Congress. During an interaction session with women coordinators of the Citi Boi Movement in Awka, Soludo called on women and youth across the Southeast to intensify their mobilization efforts in support of Tinubu.

He noted that despite receiving minimal support from the Southeast, Tinubu secured a victory in the 2023 elections. Soludo warned the region to reshape its political approach ahead of the next electoral cycle, urging the Igbo people to strategically avoid wasting votes.

He emphasized the importance of active participation in democracy and encouraged the populace not to wait for others to build the future of Nigeria. Additionally, Soludo's daughter, Adaora Soludo, serves as the Anambra State women coordinator for the Citi Boi Movement.
