Gov Soludo Endorses Tinubu for Second Term in Ebonyi

Anambra State Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo publicly endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office during an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally held in Ebonyi State on Monday. In his address, Governor Soludo emphasized the importance of the Southeast region aligning with mainstream national politics, stating that the region should no longer waste votes.

He expressed solidarity with President Tinubu, highlighting the need for collective progress and collaboration for the benefit of the country. Soludo's endorsement comes in the context of the 2023 elections, where the Southeast's voting patterns were fractured, particularly with the emergence of Peter Obi from the Labour Party, which split votes traditionally held by the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

This division weakened the opposition and ultimately aided the APC in securing victory.
