Soludo Urges Igbos to Support Tinubu in 2027 Election

On June 1, 2026, during a visit to the women’s wing of the Citi Boi Movement in Awka, Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo cautioned the Igbo populace against wasting their votes on Peter Obi in the upcoming 2027 presidential election.

He emphasized the necessity for the Igbo votes to support Bola Tinubu's re-election, arguing that their votes are crucial for ensuring Tinubu's second term. Soludo pointed out that Obi's votes did not count in the previous election, where he secured only five thousand votes without significant support.

He stated that the current administration's second term would benefit the Igbo people and urged strategic engagement to mobilize voter support across local government areas. The Citi Boi Movement, led by Adaora Ifeatu Soludo, aims to empower women and promote greater participation in political processes, aligning with Tinubu's agenda.
