Anambra Government Declares School-Free Day to Honor Teachers

Anambra State Government declared Tuesday a school-free day to honor teachers for their significant contributions to shaping the state's future. The day was designed to celebrate and appreciate teachers, with events like a mega endorsement march organized by the Solution Parents League and Association of Private School Owners in support of Governor Soludo's educational reforms.

The state Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, approved the holiday to coincide with the upcoming World Teachers Day in 2025. Teachers and parents were expected to gather at Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka to show their appreciation and support for the educational reforms.
