Federal Government Commits to Enhancing Teacher Welfare for World Teachers' Day 2025

The Federal Government of Nigeria has pledged to improve the welfare and support of teachers across the nation in honor of World Teachers' Day. Ministers of Education, Maruf Olatunji Alausa and the Minister of State for Education, highlighted the importance of teachers in shaping the future of the country during a symposium ahead of the global celebration.

The theme for the 2025 World Teachers Day is "Recasting Teaching Collaborative." The day, celebrated annually on October 5, recognizes the crucial role teachers play in society. The government aims to enhance the package for teachers to uplift the profession and education sector in Nigeria.
