AAC Candidate Claims Victory Despite 292 Votes in Anambra Governorship Election

In the Anambra State governorship election, Chioma Ifemeludike of the African Action Congress (AAC) garnered 292 votes but declared herself a winner, emphasizing moral triumph over political influence. The official results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) showed Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) emerging victorious with 422,664 votes, followed by Nicholas Ukachukwu with 99,445 votes.

Ifemeludike expressed satisfaction with her campaign, highlighting a bold and unconventional media approach while condemning electoral malpractice. She called for honest, courageous, and transparent politics in Nigeria, urging others to follow suit despite the dominance of larger political parties.

The election outcome solidified Soludo's position as the governor-elect of Anambra State.
