Soludo's Road Project Transforms Travel and Economy in Anambra

Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has completed a 16.4-kilometer road project connecting Nawfija, Ajali, Ufuma, and Ogbunka.
Mr. Obiag Okwubanego, a chief in the Abuja-based real estate development sector, commended the project, stating it drastically reduces travel time to Awka to just 15 minutes, alleviating the severe traffic congestion typically experienced during festive periods.
Previously, motorists could spend several hours in traffic around Umuomaku during Christmas, Easter, and August celebrations. The road project was conceived during the burial of Soludo's mother, highlighting its importance to the community.
Okwubanego emphasized the road's economic benefits, particularly for agriculture, as it supports the movement of agricultural products, especially palm oil, from the region. Additionally, the road is expected to enhance tourism by improving access to popular sites like Oji Stream.
Okwubanego expressed a desire for further infrastructure development to connect the community to the national grid.
