Angela Okorie Accuses Zubby Michael of Film Title Theft

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has publicly accused fellow actor Zubby Michael of being involved in the unauthorized use of the title of her unreleased and trademarked film, "Queen of Guns." Okorie claims she has invested nearly ₦100 million into the project, which has not yet been released on any platform. In a widely circulated video, she expressed her frustration over what she perceives as a deliberate attempt by industry colleagues to undermine her work.

Okorie stated that Zubby Michael had previously agreed to act in her film and questioned his involvement with other projects using the same title. She noted that her film was intended for a premiere in Manchester before a broader rollout.

Despite the trademark protection, she alleged that others have used the title, including two films on YouTube, one featuring her image and another featuring Zubby Michael. At the time of writing, neither Zubby Michael nor anyone associated with the other productions had publicly responded to her allegations.
