Wasiu Ayinde Calls Unwanted Pregnancies "Promo"

Nigerian Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde, also known as K1 De Ultimate or Kwam1, made a controversial statement regarding unwanted pregnancies during a live performance over the weekend. He declared that any unapproved pregnancy resulting from his relationships with women is a “promo.” This declaration came in response to allegations from his former pedicurist, Ogechi, who claimed to have dated him for seven years and became pregnant.

Ogechi alleged that Ayinde failed to provide financial support for an abortion and subsequently blocked her from contacting him. During his performance, Ayinde, speaking in Yoruba, jested about the situation, stating, “Any unnecessary pregnancy from any woman is a free gift (promo) from the relationship.” His comments have sparked discussions regarding his attitude towards relationships and responsibilities.
