Obi Criticizes APC's Resistance to E-Transmission of Votes

Speaking during an appearance on a morning show, Obi expressed deep concern over the current state of Nigeria's democracy, highlighting the irony of the APC's position.

He questioned why a party with such significant support would fear a system designed to ensure the integrity of votes. Obi criticized the APC's excuses regarding poor network coverage as misleading and insulting to the Nigerian populace.

He warned that the country is at a breaking point, with the potential for a total collapse of democratic structures if citizens remain silent. Obi called for active participation from Nigerians in demanding accountability from their leaders, stressing that the responsibility should not rest solely on advocacy groups.

He further criticized the National Assembly for prioritizing political interests over the needs of the citizens.
