Obasanjo Mentions Only Area Tinubu is Competing with Buhari

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo criticized the administration of President Buhari, stating that Bola Tinubu's government is only competing with Buhari's in terms of inefficiency. Obasanjo made these remarks in his new book, "Nigeria Past, Future," launched to mark his 88th birthday.

He reviewed Nigeria's leadership since independence in 1960, labeling Buhari's administration as the worst in the nation's history. Obasanjo also recalled the corruption and lack of direction during Shehu Shagari's government and questioned Buhari's return to power without addressing the identified problems.

This is not the first time Obasanjo has criticized Buhari, as he previously described him as "Baba Go Slow." In response, a presidential spokesperson accused Obasanjo of habitually casting aspersions on subsequent administrations. Obasanjo's comments have sparked a debate on leadership and governance in Nigeria.
