APC Chieftain Urges Edo Residents to Collect PVCs

Austin Iluore, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), called for massive participation in the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) in Edo State. In a statement made available to journalists on Monday, Iluore stressed the necessity for citizens aged 18 and above to engage in the ongoing voter registration exercise conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He described voter participation as crucial for strengthening democracy and ensuring effective representation. Iluore noted that politics remains a numbers game, where every citizen's voice counts at the ballot box.

He particularly urged the youth across the state to embrace the PVC collection process, highlighting that the future of Edo depends significantly on the active participation of young people in governance. He appealed to community leaders and stakeholders to support efforts to mobilize residents for massive participation in the PVC collection, asserting that increased voter turnout would help deepen democratic governance in the state.
