APC Chieftain Sanusi Demands Review of Ojokoro Councillors

Mobolaji Sanusi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Managing Director/CEO of the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA), protested the handling of party affairs in Ojokoro, Lagos State. On March 4, 2026, he addressed the Lagos APC Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, expressing strong dissatisfaction with the recent release of the supervisory councillor list, which he claimed failed to reflect a balanced representation among stakeholders.

Sanusi warned that this decision could deepen divisions within the party. He alleged that the new list reinforced public perception that the state leadership favored a particular political group.

Sanusi called for the immediate withdrawal and review of the list to accommodate differing interests within the local chapter. He criticized the state leadership for dismissing the Ojokoro chapter's petition during a recent congress, which he claimed undermined unity within the party.

Sanusi's concerns were also directed to key political figures, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
