APC's Dr. Chris Akoma Advocates for Nigerian Welfare

During a recent gathering in Obingwa, Abia State, Dr. Chris Akoma, the former Deputy Governor of Abia State and current chairman of the APC, reiterated the party's commitment to enhancing the welfare of Nigerians.

He spoke on Sunday about the APC's strategic approach to governance, emphasizing inclusivity and welcoming defectors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), including members of the Abia State House of Assembly such as Hon. Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr. and former local government chairman Hon.

Georg Ubani. Akoma expressed gratitude to the legislators for joining the APC and highlighted the importance of unity in pursuing development goals.

He assured that the party would work collaboratively to ensure that the dividends of democracy reach the grassroots. Akoma also called for support from the people of Obingwa and the broader Abia State, aiming to strengthen the party's structure in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
