Delta Governor Oborevwori Praises APC Membership Benefits

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori stated that his decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) in April 2025 is yielding positive results for the state. Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on a Friday night, he noted that the move was driven by the need to align state and federal governance, improve resource access, and enhance governance outcomes.

Oborevwori emphasized that since his defection, there has been an increase in revenue allocation to the state, which has improved the capacity to meet obligations, including salary payments and project execution. He expressed happiness with his decision, which he described as bold, and reaffirmed his commitment to delivering democratic dividends, particularly in infrastructure, health, education, and security.

He also urged residents to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu's administration, highlighting the need for sustained efforts to improve welfare in Delta State.
