Anambra's Chukwujekwu Elected APC Official in Gombe

Edwin Chukwujekwu, an indigene of Anambra, was elected as the assistant secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bolari East Ward, Gombe State, during a local government congress. His election, alongside other ward executives, was achieved through consensus, as announced by Dr.

Danjuma Dabo, the chairman of the ward local government congress committee. Chukwujekwu expressed that his election signifies the maturity of the APC as a democratic party, emphasizing the importance of national unity and inclusivity.

He urged his Igbo kinsmen and women to engage actively in politics, highlighting that the APC does not discriminate against its members based on their origins. He commended Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya for fostering an inclusive government.

The congress was characterized by peace and understanding, with a call for party stakeholders to maintain unity to ensure the party's success in the upcoming 2027 elections.
