APC Elects New Zonal Leaders in North-East Gombe

Eight officials were elected as zonal leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in North-East Gombe following the zonal congress. Idris Shuaibu was elected as the zonal vice chairman, while Baba Ali became the zonal secretary.

Tako Dauda will serve as the zonal legal adviser, and Nitt Amang was elected as the zonal public secretary. Joseph Muadali was chosen as the zonal youth leader, Lumbi Abubakar as the zonal women leader, and Haruna Tata as the zonal leader for persons with disabilities.

The congress, which included members from Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe states, aimed to enhance the party's grassroots mobilization and ensure inclusivity within its leadership structure. Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe and other party stakeholders attended the event.

Ahmad Lawan and Usman Kumo facilitated the election process, emphasizing unity and commitment among APC members for future electoral success, particularly for the 2027 general elections.
