Umahi Launches Committees for APC 2026 Convention Logistics

On Tuesday, David Umahi, the chairman of the transportation and accommodation committees, inaugurated these teams in Abuja for the upcoming APC convention, set to take place from March 25 to March 28, 2026. Umahi emphasized the importance of efficient logistics to facilitate a smooth experience for delegates and special guests.

He tasked the committee members with early planning to ensure that all arrangements for transportation and accommodation are executed professionally. The committees will manage hotel accommodations, transport for VIP delegates, and airport reception transfers, ensuring efficient movement between hotels and the convention venue.

Umahi highlighted that the success of the convention, which is expected to attract a large number of participants from across the federation, relies heavily on meticulous planning and coordination. He urged the committees to commence work immediately, reviewing their terms of reference and examining preliminary logistics plans to secure necessary resources and establish operational systems.
