Akpabio Launches APC Convention Sub-Committee in Abuja

On March 27-28, 2023, the All Progressives Congress (APC) will hold its national convention, for which Godswill Akpabio, the Minister of Defence, inaugurated the APC Convention Sub-Committee on Programmes and Events in Abuja. The committee, led by Christoph Musa, is responsible for ensuring the success of the convention and developing a comprehensive security framework to guarantee the safety of participants.

Akpabio emphasized the importance of orderly conduct during the convention and the need for effective coordination among various security agencies to mitigate potential risks. He also noted the significance of the convention in showcasing the party's leadership structure and reinforcing its vision for national development.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akum, supported Akpabio's remarks, highlighting the economic policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration. The committee's work is crucial for the APC's future, particularly as it prepares for the 2027 elections.
