APC National Chairman Highlights Party's Growth and Diversity Ahead of Convention

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, emphasized the party's growth and diversity in preparation for its forthcoming national convention.

Yilwatda, alongside key stakeholders including Governor Bola Tinubu, discussed plans to ensure inclusivity and unity within the party structure. The APC aims to harmonize its activities, involve all levels of government, and accommodate both old and new stakeholders without marginalization.

The party has seen an influx of new members, including governors, and is focused on ensuring that everyone is carried along in its expansion efforts. With the 2023 general elections approaching, where APC holds 29 out of 36 state governorship seats, the convention in March 2026 is expected to set the tone for the party's internal realignment ahead of the 2027 election cycle.

Yilwatda praised Tinubu's political acumen and experience, describing him as a pivotal figure in driving the recent growth of the APC.
