APC Denies Changes to Adamawa Primaries List

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has refuted claims regarding alterations to the Adamawa primaries list, maintaining that the results from the primary elections remain unchanged. Dogo Victor, the APC spokesman for Adamawa State, described the reports as sponsored attempts to incite crisis within the party.

He emphasized that no names have been replaced in the primary election results, which were conducted in a free and fair environment. The claims included allegations concerning House of Representatives member Dauda Nyampa, who represents Michika and Madagali, and Jame Barka, who represents Gombi and Hong.

Additionally, Hajiya Ramatu Bello, an Abuja-based politician linked to the Mubi North, Mubi South, and Maiha constituencies, was mentioned in the context of these allegations. The APC spokesman also dismissed further claims suggesting that Nuhu Ribadu was attempting to remove Governor Ahmadu Fintiri ahead of the 2027 general elections, and he noted that Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, had intervened regarding Fintiri's Senate ticket amid internal political tensions.
